The service centre, a part of the Ministry of External Affairs’ Passport Seva Project, has been set up under the public-private partnership (PPP) mode with the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).
Citizens seeking to obtain a passport can fill up the application form online and can also scan and upload the relevant supporting documents at the website www.passport-india.gov.in, after which one has to schedule an appointment at the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK). The PSK also has kiosks to help the citizens, who do not have access to computer or Internet.
All Passport related services including tatkaal are now available at the newly opened Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) at Guwahati.
